We are proud and excited to host all participants of the U20 European Athletics Championships in our city.
Jerusalem has recently become home to various international sports events and attracts thousands of sports men and women from all over the world.
The fact that this prestigious athletic championship is held in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel is a significant recognition of Israeli athletic professionalism and its achievements. It is also evident of Jerusalem being a genuine sports capital that can lead prestigious international competitions, with the most advanced infrastructure, facilities, and professional support.
Last summer, we hosted the European Athletics U18 Championships, and we are honoured to be given the opportunity to host the U20 European Athletic Championship where thousands of the top athletes from Europe will participate.
